Looking for a bike box to take a quite expensive road bike to Canda. Layover flight. Flying late November. Have one Evoc bike box/bag which will take one bike. But need another. Live in London and can come collect in car, or happy to arrange courier.

Looking for something robust - so not an old carboard box.

Surly Disc Trucker for sale. Go far, go slow. It's basically a tank. I have had the bike for ages but due to space it just has to go, and I'm not really using it anymore, which is a shame. It desperately needs new tires and could do with a bit of TLC (and a good clean) but otherwise its golden. Serviced less than 300km ago.

Hey, no I don't. Boreas feels tad heavier (scientific lifting with arms test), but then you'd cancel any of that that out with the disc break set up. I have seen a few specs for the Skeiron that suggest a factory build is about 8.7 kg. I reckon the Boreas built up with middle of the road stuff might be 9 kg? You could save weight on both of those with better wheels and forks etc etc.

Two frames for sale! Both are brand new and unused - replacements for a previous frame that cracked and was no longer in production so ended up with these. I don't have any use for either. Looking for quick and easy sale as I don't have much storage room! Would prefer collection from South East London, but if you want to arrange a courier to elsewhere I'll cooperate with that.

I have provided spec and RRP below, but as is always the case the RRP for the frame on the VN website is a bit over the odds and framesets from fatbirds (for example) are about as much as the VN frame RRP. I also have a used VN seatpost that I would throw in (first come first served) if you want it, warning it is the most fiddly seatpost you'll ever own - see here: link.

Boreas - spec on VN website - size 56 - caliper break. RRP for frame is £1,500 but you can get a frameset for that on fatbirds. I'm asking for £800 ONO.

Skeiron - spec on VN website - size 57 - disc brake flat mount. RRP is £1,700 but again you can get a frameset for about that on fatbirds. I'm asking for £1,000 ONO.

Reviews of both the frames can be found in all the usual places. I can't comment on them as haven't actually ridden either.
