Not being a massive fan of sitting in front of a computer editing digital photos, I’ve still got a fairly large selection of filters for various things. Recently got a black mist diffusion filter, thought I’d give it a try with all the Christmas lights out to see how it worked. I’m a fan I think overall

Prices and SSD storage all being equal, M2 with 16gb unified memory or M3 with base 8gb unified memory? Both 2024 release, so 2xTB and MagSafe 3 charging. Basic photo/video editing (not adobe CC) and general (personal) laptop usage.
Wanting something that will last, but not break the bank (as a more generous than usual Christmas present for the SO). M3 is the newer chip but ray tracing and dual external monitors aren’t really needed, so leaning towards better memory…

Got out after a bit of a rut, forced myself to try something new as the red kites I had hoped to find all disappeared as soon as the camera came out. Using a massive telephoto for landscapes was pretty fun actually, the foreshortening of subject to background was much more pronounced than I thought it would be and made familiar views seem very different.

Re point 2, a good designer would probably have factored in “solar edge” panels, which don’t get throttled by the lowest power panel. Usually installed or recommending there’s risk of shading (eg tree, neighbours house etc) so that you can maximise the output across the array. Ask your installer what they are proposing as it may be a non-issue

Silver lining, Could have been worse if South Africa had showed up on the second half. 5 live commentators summed it all up as “hopeless, rudderless, and dismal” and “first time a national team has gone a full year with no wins” which probably sums it up.
But it was always going to be a rebuild year for Wales with so many ending their careers after the World Cup, don’t think I recognise any/many of the squad that played today as ones with significant international experience

I’ve got some wtb i19s not doing anything, shimano HG, bolt on disk. But front is 12mm TA but can easily be converted (I don’t have the conversion sleeve I’m afraid) to QR. Interested? I’ll grab some pics at the weekend if you want.
Where are you based re postage, I’m also not London based so if you’re around Oxfordshire then happy to meet up.

As it’s now dark in the evening, could you do it the other way and get a suitably bright torch/similar under or around the cabinets then take a look from the outside? Obviously not helpful if you’re worried it’s a draft coming between the outside wall and plasterboard/frameing, but depending on your house construction might be an option?

PayPal transactions must include buyer protection (sellers are not allowed to demand that money be sent as a "Gift" as this deprives the buyer of any form of protection on their payment).

I’ve got this in my garage, seems to have held up very well despite no care or attention other than an occasional vacuum. Cheap enough if it doesn’t work for you, bonus is that I find it super comfy to stand on vs bare floors. Haven’t experienced oil spills on it (have always covered with tarp or cardboard if there’s a risk)

I had this, and I found it’s because most modern routers won’t support a lower wifi standard. I solved this by finding an old router and connecting the iPad to that, and not a modern router. Worth checking what WiFi standard the iPad supports, and maybe finding an old router that’ll work with it (eg my eero mesh set up didn’t like the iPad, an old TP link travel router did)
No, you don’t need to close the app, just taking it off the screen into the background will trigger Face ID auth (and you can’t see the contents of the app in your non-active screens nor your notifications either)
