Hi All,
This might appeal to someone here.
I have a Rab 1100g goose down expedition sleeping bag looking for a new home. You will never get chilly in this!
It’s an older made in Sheffield one.
I was planning to send it to Rab for a wash (bargain at £35) but it’s fine to use as is. I was just planning to get it refreshed, there are no funky smells or dodgy smears. There’s also a tiny repair (5p coin for scale) that I was going to get them to patch properly at the same time (£15).
Comes with a lofting bag (I’ve just kept it stored loose in a huge wicker basket and managed to lose the stuff sack).
Looking for £90 collected for it or £100 posted. I’m in Horsham, West Sussex, if you get the train down I can meet at the station. Or I would swap for a Rab 600W for the Mrs
Message me for more details or pics.

Pike came and sat about 6ft off the bank, right infront of us, a little 16” long jack, and just watched us for a good 5 minutes. We could have just scooped it up in the net but decided that would be unsporting. 2 hours of spinning later and not a nibble but a happy child that wants to go yet again. Shame that school starts next week. We’ve spent hours out there and she’s landed more fish in a few weeks than I ever did as a kid.

After a summer of my 7 yr old merrily catching assorted tiddlers in our little pool we went again yesterday and nothing. Not even a nibble. Went back this morning and spotted a jack pike which would explain why. It appears to have been washed downstream from the weir in the rains while we were off camping for a week and hoovered everything up. She’s now determined to catch it so we’re off for a spot of spinning in the morning.

Hello,
I have a Macpac Express 600g, 800 fill power, goose down sleeping bag for sale.
I have used this bag for a total of 2 nights with a liner, so it’s in stunning condition. (I have 300g and 1000g bags and always end up using one of them instead, this was bought for a specific trip which never materialised). It’s in amazing condition, beautiful loft. It’s always been stored loose and lofted not in the stuff sack. Obviously come with both stuffsack and lofting bag.
Looking for £130 posted. Please message me if you’re interested or need more pics or details.
Cheerio.

First day of the summer hols and my 7 year old wanted to go fishing. Dug out my old tat that’s almost 40 years old, dug out some worms from the compost and we went to the local stream. It’s filled from a huge lake at the nature reseve half a mile away. When it floods fish get washed out over the weir, down steam and get stranded in this pool (you can sort of make some out in the top right of the bottom pic). It’s full of huge carp that were sticking to the bank under the trees. We stayed clear of them as my kit would have just surrendered.
After an hour and a half we had a happy child having landed 10 fish including 2 perch, some roach, gudgeon and other assorted tiddlers.
I’ve ordered an NGT Travelmaster as it is so compact and can be snuck away also new line. She’s desperate to go back. I’ve never known her to be so still.

Hello hive mind of LFGSS.
I’m after a rod, please can someone recommend something suitable. My daughter wants to “do fishing” on holiday. So I’m after something small and packable for a spot of dangling a line in the sea and possibly (accidentally) landing the odd mackerel.
I’ve got my old Daiwa 1000c reel (a beautiful jewel of a thing) so something inexpensive to nail that on to. I was thinking a light 6ft ish carp/spinning rod, 4 piece. Any thoughts/recommendations welcome please.
Thanks.

A few climbers here so I thought I’d see if anyone wants them.
I’ve got these hexes that I’ll never use and they’ve not sold on ebay, I’ll post them to you at my expense. All I ask in return is that you please make any donation to the cancer charity that got me through my time from diagnosis to cure after you’ve got them. Justgiving link:

Long story short. I had cancer, it was a rather not good time. The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre helped make it easier. I’ve since heard the phrase, “you’re cured”.

Hello,
Anyone here a member of British Cycling that can look up a contact email address for a cycling team for me? I want to get in touch with Bayeux Cycling Team (they’re an English team despite the name).
I’m not a British Cycling member or on Facebook to get in touch with them.Long story short, one of their riders was hit by a car today while I was around and I used my (pediatric) first aid and waited with him for an hour and a half before the ambulance arrived. I never exchanged numbers and want to find out how he is.
Please message me is you can help. Cheers.
