Hubs. Rear is laced to a H Plus Son Archetype with CX Ray spokes. Fair bit of life left in the rim. Can include for cost of postage (~£15 for a wheel?) or strip and sell hubs separately.

Having a big clearout of all the stuff I've accumulated at my folks place. Prices include postage within the UK. There will be a big box of random freecycle bits to go at the end.

1. Medium Niner Air 9 scandium 29er frame + Rockshox Reba 100mm forks. Bought on a whim from a mate but not going to get built-up any time soon realistically. Circa early 2010s I think. 1 1/8th headtube, QR front and rear. Geometry probably more akin to modern gravel bikes than mountain bikes. Would rip with the Mezcal/Terreno combo below. Plenty of cosmetic wear and chainslap but no dings or damage. Forks reputedly works as they should but not tested myself. Includes FSA headset in need of bearings and Salsa seatclamp. £120 £105 posted.

2. Sram Red 170mm 110bcd GXP cranks. Mismatched arms (Red22/Exogram) but fully compatible. Some heel rub and minor scuffs. Right arm has an unidentified 'rattle' but never caused an issue. £45 sold

3. Tune Mig/Mag hubs in red. 24h front, 28h rear. Shimano freehub. Rear bearings need replacing before too long but otherwise in good condition. sold

4. Pair Kinlin XR26 rims to match the hubs above. Brand new in packaging. Offset rear. sold

5. King Titanium Many Things Cage. Full disclosure: appears to be very slightly bent. No idea if this happened during my ownership or if it was like it from new. Doesn't affect function. sold

6. Apidura Expedition Fork Pack. Used for a couple of trips. Very light wear. £30 or £20 with the cage above.

7. Superstar carbon bars cut to XXXmm (need to check), Vans Waffle grips (as new), Shimano BL-R550 short pull (i.e., for caliper/road brakes) levers. £45 £30

8. Look S-Track Race pedals (carbon body). VGC. Complete with box and cleats.

9. Look S-Track pedals. Used but perfectly usable. No cleats. Photos below.

I bought the Race pedals from Dick for £60 and he very generously threw in the other pair. £50 £40 posted for both or £30/£15 each.

What's the reasoning behind this out of interest?

Next victim of the moving out sale. Medium 2nd gen Cotic FlareMAX. This is their ‘downcountry’ full suspension 29er, which, as far as I care, means it’ll do a bit of anything. Done big cross-country rides and trail centres and it just laps it all up.

I bought the frame secondhand directly from Cotic. It previously belonged to Cy’s (founder and owner) wife.

Full spec below:
Medium gen 2 FlareMAX, boost spacing, Hope headset, Cane Creek Air IL shock, 120mm travel.
Rockshox Pike Select forks. Currently set to 130mm travel but I’ll include air springs for 120 and 140. Owned from new and have done ~980km according to Strava.
Hope Pro4s on DCR rims. 35mm internal front, 30mm rear iirc. Maxxis Assegai 2.5in/Aggressor 2.3in tyres with very little wear.
X-Fusion Manic 150mm dropper. Bought recently and has done a handful of rides. One Up Components remote.
Groupset is a mishmash of 1x10 Shimano. 170mm SLX cranks with a 30t Unite direct mount chainring. Old saint shifter, SLX rear mech, 11-42 Sunrace cassette. Yeah so you don’t get the same range as 11 or 12 speed but it’s solid and reliable.
Deore M6000 2 pot brakes. Again, been on 4 different bikes over as many years and have been faultless.
Ragley 50mm stem, On-One riser bars, Fabric Scoop saddle. Superstar Nano pedals. Fully serviceable with removable pins.

Frame has seen a fair bit of use. Plenty of scuffs, particularly on the rear triangle, and chain slap on the aluminium swing arm under the tape. No dents or damage but has developed an intermittent creak. I think I’ve tracked this down to the seatstay shock mount bushing but can’t guarantee. Spares are available from Cotic/Cane Creek. Forks and shock function as they should. No marks on the stanchions. Forks have had a couple of lower legs services (when changing between air springs). Shock hasn’t been serviced in my ownership.

£950 collected from near Derby. I may be able to deliver within reasonable distance or meet at station etc. Not posting. Pm for more details and photos.
