What finish did you use on the frame and what is that front brake ? can you show a pic of its set up ?

I was thinking about this light rub down all over to get it smooth and then clear coat to bring out the colours and protect what is there , keep the history .

Rat look ?

I have lightly rubbed the lumpiness of the rust on the down tube, seat tube and top tube woth 600 grit pads then again with 0000 wire wool to smooth the 'paintwork and not destroy the patina , I'm now thinking about a Rat look ...

I have just picked up 1952 Raleigh Lenton Sports.
The paintwork is in a dreadful state so I intend to take it all off and clear coat then add the original style decals on again, but the only ones I can find are from H Lloyd and are for a later model , does anyone know where I might get some ? I was pointed in the direction of the 'Decals Thread' I have looked at all those and its a no from all there .

Hi I know this is an old posting , but I have just bought a Lenton Sports frame and was looking at images on the net and found this one , I intend to to make it into w vintage fixie .You say it has new decals The only decals I can find are for later models than mine and the ones on this are the same , can you tell me where you got them ?
( it is H Lloyd that do the later ones )
Or if anyone else reading this might know ?
