I bought OnGuard Pitbull 8008, security rating 85/100, £23 on ebay including 120cm/10mm cable to secure the wheels. It came with 5 keys, as I tend to lose one key every 2 years, I'm sorted till 2027. I registered the lock immediately so If I lose all the keys I will get replacement for small(?) fee.

How about big chain with big combination padlock?

The problem is when I go to Reading, lock the bike, lose the keys and the spare keys are at home in London.

OnGuard D-locks come with 5 keys (!) That's cool.

I ve been using Kryptonite Mini for couple of years. For some reason I was not able to register keys online then I lost serial numbers. I ve only one key left.

Yes, exactly: alu frame, cheap components, for beginner on low budget.
