Thanks @ian(conker). Appreciated. I will make sure that bit is correct. And the rest of the route of course! No one wants a surprise fuck-off-big-hill!
out of interest, why? too much Di2 last time?
Easier, and cheaper to organise really. Just one of these little logistical issues.

@ian(conker) @ObiWomKenobi That's correct. The Great Escape and The Italian Job are now run under British Cycling, and not Audax UK, so they are not audax's.
We will not have a brevet card with questions etc, just some lovely lanes, cake and coffee to be enjoyed along the way.
We'll have another look at the route sheet / gpx to make sure there are no errors, just to make sure.

For the second year running, Islington Cycling Club are running The Italian Job, a 107km (69 miles) ride, starting and finishing in Finsbury Park. The 2017 edition will be on Sunday 18 June.
True to the name, the ride has an Italian theme - riders are encouraged to showcase their Italian spirit in some respect. A prize will be awarded for whoever shows the most Italian style.
Our partners Look Mum No Hands! will run a pop-up cafe in the park to get you started. Our route heads north-west to a rest stop at Fillipetto's Deli in Little Chalfont, and returns to the park in time for the Finsbury Park Festival of Cycling.
You can see some pictures of the 2016 event, here.

The 2017 edition of Islington Cycling Club's The Great Escape, will be on Sunday 14 May.
This year, we are running the event under British Cycling (as a non-competitive, reliability trial), and not AudaxUK, however the usual atmosphere, cake and post-ride celebrations are guaranteed!
The 200km route will take you from the heart of London to the rolling countryside of Essex and back via quiet roads and picturesque villages. There are two great rest stops at Great Bardfield (the Knead Cafe at The Blue Egg) and at Great Dunmow.
We again partner with Look Mum No Hands! where our ride starts in Old Street, so join us there for a pre-ride breakfast and post-ride celebrations.
Like previous year's sell out editions, 2017 will have a field of 400, so tell all your friends and family that this is the cycling challenge to set yourself for next year.

Some pictures and videos from the 2016 event can be found here and here.
