This is the best I've got in terms of not having bags on it. It definitely shows how ridiculous the geo is.

I cant imagine it wasn't 126, it came with deerhead stuff stock to my knowledge. But I have no problems dropping this 130 into the frame so I do wonder if it was cold-set at some point.

Also been toying with replacing this with a bridge club, vintage is cool but so are discs...

Funny my bike has ended up here again, I was about to post its latest and greatest rebuild after retiring it as my work bike. And yes that stem is a sakae split, questionable but cool design

The stem is indeed a sakae Beam or split or whatever, would be super cool on something with cantis because the housing stop is cut into the gap.

This bike only weighs 3lbs less than my steel hardtail which is something.

I sold my cargo fork back to the guy I got it from.

The bike is comically long and slack, it looks pretty ridiculous in person honestly and it's definitely a polarizing bike, some love it some simply despise it and liken it to a road bike that tboned a semi trailer, knocking the top half way back.

Definitely no, I'm like half the frames age, I just think it's cool. I bought it with many battle scars from a co-op, and apparently the original owner dropped it off (so props to them, whoever they are)

I rebuilt my 1984 (?) montare again. I finally tracked down a matching (close enough) fork. it definitely feels and looks a lot nicer. Hope it's cool that I post it again.

Fwiw (not a lot), this is a 19 and fits my 6' body extremely well.

Great run. Up fisherman's gravel trail I assume? FYI you can cross a little bridge just below the damn and continue up for even more kms through the watershed on slighlty rougher gravel to more swimmable spots.

Went out on a 3 day excursion of almost purely MTB trails, tons of tech climbing and dusty singletrack. here's my chromag rootdown 29 set up for that trip.

Tires are Continental City rides which are not the fastest thing ever but no complaints otherwise, Bars are surly sunrise which are spectacular, and framebag is a custom done up by a friend.

Ah, I was just under the impression 650c was a weird dead wheelsize, It would be interesting, and Ill need a new wheelset for my Kona soon... Tires are a concern

The rims are just some velocity twinholes that I found at the co-op for cheap.

Did 650b on my gravel bike, 650c would be fine and you would probably have a couple more brake options (these are maxed out tektro CL720s.)

Cooks. Found them for disgustingly cheap due to damage to the NDS cranks square taper interface and heavy wear. It held on a short ride so I really am hoping the damage is only a visual (as it seemed to be after some close inspection with a couple of seasoned mechanics). If it ends up unuseable I'll sell the set to someone who needs a driveside crank.
