After a few weeks of being very flakey, with randomly restarting and only 24hr battery life, a final act of defiance has seen my Versa 4 fully shit itself this evening.
After getting an alternative delivered this afternoon it looks like it has bricked itself. It restarted to a red X now doesn't display the time. -
It's all gone quite at Station Cottage and will probably be quite until 24th Jan.
There's definitely question marks about the legality of their Title Sheet (deeds), so I expect the Title Plan (boundary map) is also suspect.
https://map.whoownsengland.org
Data from 2016 and the current Register of Scotland map are definitely different. However 2019 saw the Station cottage get its own separate title with new Burdens in favour of it, whilst older burdens mentioning access to "Altnabreac Station" vanish but are still referenced elsewhere.
Seems like someone may have fraudulently registered the title.

Anyone removed old sealant from around their double glazing and put in fresh sealant? Any tips?
Also what’s the best way to remove sealant, Stanley blade and acetone?
It's a job that I hate.
I wouldn't trust multisolve, as you will never be able to completely remove all of the old sealant. I don't want partly softened leftovers compromising the job.
I think if the sealant s mostly good, but has a couple of small splits, cut out the small sections and renew.
If its larger splits, cut off everything as far as possible. One sharp glazing knife /chisel for neatly cutting the sealant off the window. Sharpen with wet and dry paper down to 800 grit or more.
Another for hacking away at the wall. Keep restoring the edge with 180 grit.
Use a brush and cloth to rub away any loose leftovers
Soudal or CT1 sealant

Frozen haggises, surely
They are difficult to find in stock out of season. With the main Haggis season being mid January, everything will be frozen in Altnabreac (the sausages, the ground and you included)
Lorne may be good to Frisbee in to the property. Save getting done for aggravated trespass which these folks seem to be well clued up on

Saw a bit about 'burden 2' which they (station owners) wish to believe is abandoned. Surrender of rights if access don't just disappear. In my experience they have to be proactively surrendered. I think they are on a hiding to nothing and if they have a serious beef they should be taking it up with their conveyancer.
Being as they were allegedly told "you own all ot the fenced area and platform " I did ask if they had it in writing or recorded and the solicitor had indemnity insurance.
Burden 2 relates to an old rail siding to the west of the property. Railway board vehicle access was granted over their land, going from the siding goods yard across to the right of way.
Just because nobody has used it in a few years and probably won't, doesn't mean it can't be used. -
Bike serviced and fresh sealant just in case I'm daft enough to actually ride the thing!
Now come in and see they posted an old video giving more context to the dispute. Was actually worried for a few seconds.
Public right of way pedestrian gate is freely accessible. Except when it's padlocked.
They claim their land extends out towards Loch Dubh over 1Km away and Loch Caise which is 2km away. All whilst buying a £162k home within a small area. An area which they acknowledge they own, bounded by the red line and burdend so this can't legaly contest until 2029.
All whilst claiming NR can't do any work on the disputed land, but digging up the platform themselves. If its disputed, its not yours to dig up until its been legally assigned. Absolutely deluded.
@Ben689908
lol I hadn't thought about their Solum rights over the railway and the upkeep of the track. Let alone upgrades which are now outstanding. That bill wouldn't be cheap -
Not quite the correct time line there.
I saw the video of them getting harassment from BTP and they didn't seem to fully understand the map which they showed the officers. "I'm not quite sure what's going with this triangle" meaning the area around the entrance to the station.
I had a look at their Title online and it definitely looks like they hadn't got a clue. Mentioned to them that it was probably a shared driveway and was told I'm not a solicitor so can't judge anything.
I payed the £3 to get a copy of the title and that confirms the online plan is correct. Posted again and got told "stop spreading false information."
They setup a gofundme and start deleting comments/blocking people. Changing from being clueless to grifters.
I created a post here

Sorry, why are you so interested in this and spending so much time on it? More important, why are you spending money to get involved? Do you have some kind of financial interest in what’s going on?
I have absolutely no financial interest or connection with either them, or network rail. They are misleading people into giving them money.
I just got pissed off when they called me a liar. All I did was accurately quote their legal Title. The title which they supplied the Web link to.

I spend way too much time on this forum and generally agree with the anti police, big corporation stance over miss use of powers.
I nearly posted In the news thread, but didn't want to swamp it
The owners of Station House are using their channel in their favour by thanking all the positive comments and deleting or ignoring lots that doesn't agree.

Before I realised they were complete grifters. Someone promoted them to get HSE involved for no barriers around the work site
I asked if it was going to cause more harm than good. And my posts have disappeared
Scenario 1. Ian asks contractors where's the required barriers. After a short delay barriers go up and work continues.Small victory.Scenario 2. Ian contacts HSE. Executive shut down work until barriers are up. Staff get in shit and build a large safety fence along the platform out of spite.
Now I see there used to be a fence across, seperating them from an active railway.
But it's been removed by them in the past year -

What do I need to post in the comments to start asking questions about where the posts from the person who bought a copy of the deeds went to make it look legit?
"where did the posts go from that guy who bought a copy of your deeds go? Did you delete them? If so why?"
@Chaley
Easily verifiable facts are the station furniture and fence have disappeared within the last year. Why is the platform gate next to your chicken hut? -
What about a counter/debunking YouTube channel? Think Francis Bourgeois X Serieal S1.
They only have 6k subscribers, but I think with Amey's help you could make this go viral.
Hopefully. I'm all for the little people not being picked on, but they are claiming their land is being stolen, whilst turning a platform into their front garden and getting a remote station closed.
Thinking:- Geoff Marshall, Paul Whitewick but hadn't thought of Francis

Basically!
In 2023 all the small stations on the line were getting upgraded. But NR were kicked off the land and the station ended up being temporarily closed.
Which is funny as fuck when they use(d) the train to go shopping.Cue them standing on the track infront of a train to make it stop and subsequently being arrested
Now they are still being obstructive and saying they are the victims
