For our light toilet refresh, I wanted to put some picture rail back in as I've seen other houses in the street with it and liked it. It's very similar to the door architrave but has a larger flat bit and a rebate of sorts for the hooks to hang. I didn't have any as pretty much all original features had been stripped from our house but managed to snag a small amount from a kind family on the street. Took it to Champion Timber in Bromley who machined up 10m for me. Pretty good match.
I've had them make some skirting and stair spindles for me before and they're the dons at this sort of stuff. -

Have removed a patio, shed and the base to enlarge the potato patch. Have now removed over 5 tonnes of concrete rubble and the end is in sight!
Putting the final 40 sacks of well rotted manure in from the Surrey Docks Farm to get the worms to help break up the compacted yellow clay below. Hard work! -

Was cooking my lunch earlier and thought my border looked good today. Can go through periods of no colour then all the colours. I've been beavering away since April removing 2 old rotten wooden sheds and bases at the bottom of the garden. Today marked the last big tip run with rubble and hardcore. Total in the weighbridge so far is 4.7 tonnes. Not that I'm that sad that I keep a spreadsheet with dumping totals. Plan is to now dig more sacks of well rotted manure in and then try and design some nice sort of garden down there.
Fence to be done next at there wasn't actually a fence behind the shed. Photo of shit bare soil so I can look back when it looks nice to see how far we've progressed. -

Re my previous question on interlocking rubber floor tiles, I ended up going for the Duramat Durastud 50cm tiles with ramps and corners. Lovely stuff and so satisfying to put together.

Tell me about interlocking rubber floor tiles!
I erected (fnar) an Asguard Gladiator 7' * 7' a month ago and slowly moving everything over from my old wooden shed which is soon to be demolished.
I went with the osb subfloor but as I'll be moving a grassy mower and other things in and out frequently, feel like I need something more that's easily wipeable. What are the decent brands of interlocking floor tiles? Anyone else done this? -

They're all far too close together because I'm running out of space but got 1 x Alchemilla mollis and 3 x Echinacea Purpurea Magnus in this morning. Quite late in the season but was waiting till I knew a purchased offering would be over the height where it would be immediately mown down by slugs and snails. Need to get the Geum and fennel in too but waiting for the foxgloves to seed andndie off first.

Anyone care to recommend a website, app or software (ideally free) where I can enter room dimensions to come up with a bathroom design?
When we did the kitchen, there seemed to be a huge number of companies that wanted to come out and measure and sell you their stuff. Doesn't seem to be the case so much with bathrooms!
