Hello!
Selling my single speed as it's barely done anything for the 2 years since I bought it as it turns out I'm too lazy to cycle it up to Highgate. I purchased the frame from this very forum Sept 2016 and built it up with some cheapo second hand components here, but it seems to do the job well! Strava tells me I've put the grand total of 500km on it. Selling as I'm moving out in March and having a bit of a clear out.
Pictures attached, let me know if you need to know more information.

Something certainly non bike related, but does anyone know a good piano teacher in North London (N10 area)? Looking for someone with a classical background to teach classical piano. Tried Gumtree and stuff, but London has the problem of so much choice! If anyone has a teacher or knows of one they can vouch for, I'm all ears.

I'm about to buy a Kogel bottom bracket (one of the few BB's that are BB30A with a 24mm spindle), and have the option of throwing in some derailleur pulleys. They are £111 so not exactly on the cheap side - are they actually worth it? This is on my (only bike) all rounder, used for the occasional TT, crit, and all my training.

@croft tells me this belongs here. Excuse the accessories :(

Hi!
I'm selling my Trek FX 7.4. This was purchased brand new from Two Wheels Good in Stoke Newington in 2014, and was used for commuting and a few sportives 2014-2015. It's since been sat in my bedroom, as I've built another commuting bike and also purchased a road bike since then. Strava tells me it's done 2500km - so there isn't much mileage on it.
Asking for £100, or nearest offer. Any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm based in N8 - Crouch End.
Pictures can be found at http://imgur.com/a/QMXqX - too large to upload directly here.

I'm trying to install a rear brake into my Brother Classic frame. I have some old Shimano Sora brakes with the recessed nut for the mounting screw. Everything fits in the frame well, but when I tighten the nut all the way, there is still maybe 3mm left to tighten, so the brake calliper is floating all over the place. Any idea what to do? Should I be looking for some spacers/washers to pad this out?
Hopefully can see what I'm on about in this photo.

Anyone got any suggestions for a seatpost that's 25.4 x 330 with zero set back that isn't Thomson? I have a Thomson Elite inline seatpost on my Cannondale Synapse, and the fucker constantly slips down. I've torqued it correctly, and had that confirmed at my LBS. Used carbon paste, still slips. I can only guess that the smooth machined finish is incompatible with the stupid internal mounting system.

I have (well, we're pretty certain I do) paraoxysmal tachycardia - maybe have a look at the symptoms of that and see if it's related. When I do really hard efforts (sprints, long VO2 max/anaerobic intervals), sometimes when I'm recovering my heart rate will suddenly shoot through the roof - hitting numbers (on my HR strap) that I can't even reach when I'm at my limit. Hitting 185bpm requires me to be super fresh and practically bringing my lunch up, but when I get a tachycardia episode my heart rate will go from 140bpm to 220bpm instantly, and stay there for a good 30s until the rhythm restores.
From fairly extensive testing (Holter monitor, ECG, blood tests, ultrasound, interview with a cardiologist), we think it's paraoxsymal tachycardia, but benign and not too much to worry myself about.
Definitely see your GP. They don't take this lightly, and nor should you. Hearts are complicated.

Hi, are you having a clear out? I may be interested in things you want to get rid of!
I'm looking for:
- Rim brakes. Silver
- Aero brake levers - levers suitable to go on drop handle bars.
- A quill stem in silver
- A seatpost, ideally in silver though less concerned about this.
Drop me a message with what you have!

First time for everything! Felt a bit cheeky but the original price was a bit dumb... Wasn't thinking straight
