The trigger shifter is fully compatible with the nexus 7 hub. I ordered one from amazon Germany. Arrived today and fitted in 20 minutes. All gears work perfectly. I just used the existing outer cable and fed the new inner cable that comes with the trigger shifter. One thing g to remember before removing the nut on the existing cable is to measure the distance from the outer cable to the nut. It should be about 10 mm. When you feed the new cable through the outer just attach the nut back on at the same distance and everything should work.
