Yeah, the constant caliper misalignment is another sign of a sticky piston.
To be honest I have no idea why it rapidly shortens the bleed intervals, but would love to know.
It's pretty easy to rectify; remove pads, advance pistons individually (by holding one piston back at a time with a wide plastic tyre lever or similar and carefully pumping the lever), rinse with brake cleaner to loosen up the dark shadowing stuck to the ceramic and then use a lint-free cloth to gently 'floss' the piston clean. Then syringe some fresh mineral oil onto the pistons to lube them before resetting them, clean everything with brake cleaner, bleed, reinstall pads.
If you wanted to pop down to my workshop in SW14 and I'd be happy to help out.

Repainted my pink CAAD9, sourced a full carbon Si fork and added lots of Super Record/Record bits and pieces. Fitted a Super Record cage to a Chorus rear derailleur, creating a derailleur somehow lighter than a full SR unit. 7.2kg as is. Really chuffed.
Looks very gangly thanks to my poor photography skills, but:
(Saddle already adjusted to level. Bartape will return to black once novelty wears off)Not sure whether I've posted my commuter in both summer and winter mode:

Very cool! That's my definitely preferred shade of pink. I've had a set of 40c tyres on with no issue; this one has 42c, presumably with no issue either.
Is that the original alloy post? How do you find it, comfort-wise? -

Thanks all.
I've had this bike in a different paint job for a while and it's so, so good. The only thing it lacked was a sweet pastel hue. Then a friend finally agreed to sell me his pink one, and the Mint Crux tribute was complete.

Dibs wireless adaptor if it's for sale and @tuttonp no longer wants it?
