A second set of roadworks has appeared at the other end of Jews Walk so it now takes ages to get from Westwood Hill to Kirkdale.

Might be worth altering the route a bit until they are done.

All three GTs won in one year (never been done) would be a bigger achievement than a 4th tour (been done by Frome and exceeded by 4 others).

There's already a good chance he will lose to a fit Vingegard next year anyway.

55 GT stage wins from 24 GT starts, so better than 2 wins per GT, over a period of 16 years.

For the same purpose, I ended up with a 2p and a 1p plus a 4*4m lightweight tarp to sling between two trees. It makes a very rain proof campsite and it is easy to pick up the right tent(s) for the number of people on the trip.

We alternate who sleeps in the 2 man tent and who gets a better night of sleep on their own.

Ooh, I saw a huge train of audax riders going the other way when I was passing Otford on my way to Canterbury. Nice to know what they were riding.
