yeah that's exactly it- transfer a small amount to check in right account and have account in previously paid list, so that when you meet seller in a car park/station/lay by/their house etc you can do transaction quickly and not mess about w/ bank calling you and giving you codes etc to set up new payment.
@stedlocks - is your minimax still for sale and are test transfers accepted?

@VeloSurMer had mentioned it was sale to me on my wanted thread but i initially thought it was too big, so was in discussion w/ @stedlocks about buying his minimax. but he stopped responding to my messages, so either his one is not for sale or my idea of doing a small test transfer before meeting him so as to set up payment details on banking app really freaked him in to thinking i was doing a crazy scam. he never let me know. has anyone else managed to buy his minimax? GLWP.

to briefly derail this thread- is test transfer thing a normal way of doing transactions? i've done this many times when buying and selling several high value bikes/guitars/&c over last few yrs w/ no issues. better than loadsa cash flying about.

anyway- in summary; if @stedlocks doesn't want to part w/ his and if @user159172 and @jacktwoshoes aren't in the mix, i'll throw my hat in.

Bump for @Fishfabs and his Bullitt. I checked this out recently - brakes, dropper, shifting all working well, and the double dynamo light at front is nice. Unfortunately we couldn't make it work for us (storage), but for someone with the space this'll make a great cargo. It's also spent the last few months hauling round bits for an Ai Weiwei bike sculpture I believe, if that swings it for anyone.
