First time posting a for sale ad so if I've done anything wrong do let me know
Merckx EMX-1
56cm c-t£50
Up for spares or repairs as there is a lot of flex in the frame when you put a lot of power down which caused the rear wheel to rub against the brakes. Initially had the wheels checked for spoke tension but was told by two local LBS's that they were perfect. Then took the whole bike in and both shops found the frame to be very flexy around the BB. Have since bought another frame and this rides fine with the same wheels so very much assuming it is the frame.
On stripping down and cleaning the frame I noticed the indent clearly created by the cable for the front derailleur but would not think this would cause such flex in the frame, do please correct me if I'm wrong though.
Was told by the LBS's the frame clearly needed to be x-rayed to find the real fault but heard this is very expensive which is why I'm putting this up for sale in case anyone has access to one or just wants to take the risk.
Comes with front fork, headset (still runs nicely after a clean), BB (same as headset), seat collar and can also chuck in a basic seatpost.Would prefer collection - I live in Tooting and work in Waterloo so happy with collection from either of those places. Happy to post as well but buyer will need to pay fees (sold an MTB frame recently and this cost £17 to send to Scotland to help give an idea of cost)
Any questions drop me a message and if I've made any forum faux pas do let me know!
Cheers

Does anyone have a black Sram Omnium Left hand crank arm 165mm lying around that they are willing to part with for the right price?
Unfortunately, on reassembling the bolt connecting the arm to the rest of the crank disintegrated and no shop seems to have stock or can get stock in!
Based in South London but willing to ride to most of London to pick up, name your price and I'll be there! (If I need to name a price on the ad do let me know - first time posting!)
Thanks and Happy New Year to all!
