A compact just won't cut it for my studies a'd as far as I know compacts don't have interchangeable lenses.

It's definitely as heavy but smaller and a higher quality body.

It's the size of it, I would like something more compact but still fully manual. Also the Canon is an entry level camera and I don't think investing in lenses for that camera is worth it unless I have a wrong idea about it all.

I currently own a Canon EOS 1100D and its just too cumbersome for me, I'm a graphic design student and I do photo for print. I was thinking about switching to a full manual hybrid like the fuji XPRO2 but it's maybe just not worth it and too pricy for a student. Any thoughts and recommandations is greatly appreciated.
