Afaik the owner lives in switzerland where it’s not uncommon to see pretty bling commuter/lock-up bikes.

FSA the Pig is another high-stack option. Not as bling but a rather durable DH specific headset which may come in handy on a loaded cargo fork.

Nice! I got one as well. Fun fact: a friend of mine bought one of these to build up for another friend. That one also had a stuck seatpost and they managed to rip apart the seat tube when they tried to remove the seatpost with a forklift.

It can be tricky to find the right bar/end combination that gives a sufficiently wide position to make it feel like you‘re riding in the hoods. They‘re also great for tucking in as you can rest your wrist/forearms on the main bar.

If you‘re staying in Neukölln and want a ~50k route without too much traffic, I‘d recommend a loop around Müggelsee via Treptower Park/Plänterwald & Wuhlheide.
Grunewald is sweet as well, but you‘ll have to cross the city to get there. Unless you want to do a longer round via teltow kanal, parforceheide, wannsee, which is a nice single-trail option. If you want to go swimming, Liepnitzsee is a great option but you‘ll have to cross the whole city if you‘re starting from neukölln.

Took the Time on a roady vacation with some friends. Couldn’t have asked for a better bike - such a joy to ride.

If you want flat hoods and drops, piegas are the way to go. With hwy 1s it’s a bit of a compromise.
