I love it. Managed to crack the fork in a crash late summer when another cyclist went swerved over at the wrong side of the bikepath and i had to choose between her and a lightpost. So right now i got a caad12 fork on it, same dimensions as the caad10 but it fits the 28mm grand prix tires.
been doing a couple of 80km runs on it. feels good, still responsive and stiff when pushing hard :)

I'll most likely have nothing left except for the cogs, chain and 27.2 thomson seatpost since the insurance company will take care of the rest.
Which fbm is that? A sword with disc brake mounts?
Where can i find one in europe? Been looking but haven't found anything.A pompino feels a bit boring, but i assume that it'd work just fine haha

So I managed to fuck my cannondale up and I'll be getting a bunch of insurance money.
looking at building a new bike with the budget around 2000gbp and going for a more durable bike this time around. less carbon and more steel, Both fork and frame.
The Cinelli work looks nice. But it feels super expensive with 800gbp for a frame with basic reynolds tubing and from what i've understood made in china. Then i'd rather chase down a tonic supernaut or something used instead
Steel with possibility to run at least 28mm tires
straight blade forks preferably
needs to be avaible in around 56cm (55-57cm effective toptube)
Sub £800 -

Haha, i'm usually the first one to hate on stuff I ride if I don't like it :)
Negaatio, partially. If you draw a straight line instead of the formed tube it would be quite a bit tighter :)

I hear you on that one. Would have looked a lot better if they didn't do the "hydroforming" of the downtube.
would have been a lot less space for my whale though

Put on a new 18t cog, still clearance for the 28mm gp4000's measuring 30.9mm with the calipers. Nice and smooth :)
