Not exactly the nicest frame by any reach, but the Kilo WT seems to fit the bill for the most part. Clearance for mudguards and largish tires, eyelets, 120 rear spacing, and relatively cheap to boot.

Another option is the Nashbar SSCX frame. Also 'stateside, and to my understanding is sold as a completed bike. Parts aren't too terrible for what you get, good to delegate to a beater or sell off for cheap. I've got the Nashbar SSCX built up with full guards, rack, large tires etc and it does a pretty good job. A bit of toe overlap on the 52cm that I got but a larger size shouldn't have that issue. Pictured are 45c Specialized Fatboys and 50mm Chromoplastics. It's got loads of tire clearance and running it fixed is a delight.

Took a que from this thread. Had a little nook to store a couple rides whilst not riding. Nice to reclaim some floor space because of it.

Aye those tires look to be a comfortable ride. I had coincidentally set up my 1x10 all-rounder very similar to yours before even seeing it. I definitely appreciate a good functional build like yours. Those sliding dropouts are a brilliant thing to have on a custom ride.

@hugo7 Nashbar SSCX. Pretty nice chromo frame for the price. It's sized a little small for me, I've got some impressive toe overlap going.

Pretty sure this falls under functional now. SS commuter kitted w/full mudguards and basket. Short distance grab'n'go squeeze finally.

That mudflap could keep my shoes dry if I were to ride through a lake.

42c Specialized Trigger Sport look to be a fast rolling tire with some halfway decent tread.

40c Schwalbe Land Cruisers roll over everything and are reasonably fast, just not as fast as the Triggers. Probably on par with the Nanos.

Why the aversion from the non-folding version?

Set up commuter modo with full fenders. Plenty impressed they fit with the mini-Vs.

If you could find yourself a deal and got some parts, a Soma Wolverine would be ace as an all-rounder with massive tire clearance. Frame can take at least a 2.1" 29er. Plenty of mounts for anything needed, tange steel frame with sliding dropouts, chainstay split for belt drive, etc.

I believe they only sell it only as a frameset.

Yeah not likely with this setup. Brakes, Fatboys, Fenders. Choose two. Cantis would probably do in a pinch, or could just go brakeless fixed, but no way fenders are gonna fit both the mini-Vs and the (45c!) Fatboys.
