Just an FYI you can get centrelock adaptors for your 6-bolt discs... https://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-6-bolt-to-centrelock-rotor-hub-adapter-rtad05

Cheers dude, will take ‘em. Good timing as I’ve just seen a nice gobstopper layer-style mark on my inside chainstay from tyre rub. Whoops! Need to go skinny again.
Will Pm re payment.
Cheers for the pass, @monosprocket

If only it were that easy... loads of differing lengths to account for Rock Shox on MTBs (the stanchion/fork dropouts are usually really wide) which make finding a 125mm axle much harder to find.
FWIW I've found a really useful resource (should anyone else be having the same problem) at the Robert Axle project: a printable measuring guide for length, width and thread pitch.
https://robertaxleproject.com/what-axle-do-i-need/
Risky business to assume all MTB axles are all the same, when things like thread pitch, length of axle vs inner length of fork dropouts etc are all competing for attention.
So fingers crossed, if anyone has an older standard axle lying around, let me know.

I'm in a mine field of standards. I've got an older road frame/fork (pre-12mm standardisation) and having had to hammer out a seized, old thru-axle yesterday from my front fork, I'm on the hunt for a replacement. Oddly it's anything but straightforward in my searches online thus far.
Does anyone out there have an old thru axle lying around to sell? I'm looking for a 15mm thru axle, width (from head to end of thread end) is 125mm. AFAIK that means its a 100mm fork width.
Anyone able to help?
