Recently moved into a new flat. This one has a garden and, even better, a shed. The holy grail. I can finally own more than one bike.
Pretty tired of doing the weekly Lidl visit in cleats tbh, so any new one was always going to be a flat pedals utility vehicle that I can lock up outside without suffering heart palpitations.
I have treated myself to a 92 Kona Cindercone in size 20". It's black, with great 90s green and white graphics. Planned components mostly in silver to bring a little class.
I have a p2 fork on order with the ability to run a front disk. Playing with the idea of running it fixed. However, will probably end up going with a 1x set up.
Budget is £400 for everything.
First on the agenda: headset, forks, seat post (27.0) and wheelz. Open to all ideas and offers if there are components out there that need new homes.

FS: My CAD3, which has served well as a city bike for the last few months.
Available as pictured, with flat bars and 2 x 9 Sora set up, or with the original drops and some compatible Tiagra Brifters.
Seat tube 56cm ctc.
Time Carbon fork. 90s Ultergra groupset runs smoothly, and wheels are true. Will pop on the yellow Selle gel saddle that it came with for maximum retro vibe.
Smallest of dinks on top tube, and the typical bubbling of paint that you tend to get on these old alu frames. Any questions, let me know.
Super light, super fun.
Pedals & lock not included.
Won't post. Can meet anywhere between Oval/Hampstead.£275.

Dibs on the silver if they take 3 chainrings. I would be able to make them into this right?: https://www.ciclisport.com/380/products/shimano-deore-m590-9-speed-chainset.aspx

Very tempting, but I'll hold off on colour on the frame itself I think, and then maybe indulge with some red hubs if budget allows.
