I've had zero issues with the Surly rack and would question anyone who thought the strength and practicality made their bike worse

The Blackburn rack is a horrible colour and so flexy . I really wouldn't bother. Either a Surly rack or Porteur would be better.

What rack is that?

So for a frame that was never intended to carry lots of weight, you really do feel having the panniers out front help rather than on the rear ? It's fashionable sure but you feel it's better?

I've used one for years and rate them very highly. The wee size is nothing if you compare it to a bar bag, and if anything it's actually better as you can leave the bag open and fill more stuff inside.

It has a light mount so that's covered too. If you use it like a bar bag for long rides, Audax etc then it'll be a winner.

I have a Genesis Day One frame for sale, it's blue with black Forks. 60cm £135 posted . I also have the new Day One Decade in the 60cm, full bike. £450. This is a brand new bike but the MSO tyres have been swapped for Continental.
