So I'm trying to substitute this very nice but very heavy Tiagra, 2x, 10-speed crankset – with something lighter, more in fashion, as in 1x.
- Ideally I wouldn't need to change the BB fitted to my frame.
- Ideally, fitting one of @t0-ster's 110 BCD chainrings :)
- Ideally, in the EU so no faff with customs.
Thank you!

Meant to say thank you to you all for your replies to my battery question a week or so ago. I'm scheduled to go check on it in a week's time, after about a month sitting there. Fingers crossed, and all that!
On portable jump / battery packs, should that be needed because the Kangoo emptied its battery – would they be fine staying in the car, i.e. would they hold the charge better? -

So, I’ve got a Kangoo mk1 (fits all the bikes!) for the occasional trips to the mountains, but it won’t be used much. It will mostly be sitting in an underground car park, and I worry about what will happen when I come to pick it up every ~6-8 weeks. Notably, to the battery and the tyres. Might get a bit cold this close to the Alps.
I’ve seen battery chargers, jump starters, folks who recommend to unplug the battery… but I’m very non-knowledgeable about cars and unsure what I should do. What would you all recommend?

Update on this:
- Reached to Saucony, who asked to get in touch with the reseller first.
- Did that, and after minimal arguing was told to bring the shoes back to the store to get a voucher worth 50% of the purchase price.
- Did that, and after minimal arguing was told that it would fall under the one-year manufacturer warranty and that i would be reimbursed 100% of the purchase price.
So bought myself a pair of On Cloudmonster instead, for 30€ extra!

Polo people recommend Plattenladen Kollektiv in Neukölln. It’s a DIY very friendly, donations-based based workshop with everything you might need. http://plattenladenkollektiv.de/

Here’s one that has got me stumped:
What’s an acceptable, daily-wear strap for a vintage 1675-type GMT with a Pepsi insert?I’ve seen lovely suede, pastel, or light leather ideas for 1601s / Datejusts ; I can get my head round the black-insert GMTs which, to me, work well on two-stitch dark leather… but the things I see on google image for the Pepsi all feel off.

Family are away this week, 24 hours a day to myself these days, and really no excuse to… not go out there and do something a bit longer. So I set my sights on this 48k full Moon marathon, don’t really tell anyone and plan to turn up cash in hand, kind up and get round, thus conjuring having not run this milestone distance before.
Careful with nutrition over the last couple days, timed the number twos today, clock off work early and head to the start line. A lot of stress for 30 minutes as I look for the registration desk on this sports campus, thinking crap crap I did not need that anxiety before a long distance, I’m going to exhaust myself and fail later and bonk and it will be dark, etc.
Turns out the event is not today. And I don’t think I can actually line up tomorrow. Sad trumpet noise…

That looks pretty great. What are the improved bits?
