Edit: removed stuff about transpyranees as there's a thread over here https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/326926/
I'm planning on applying for next year, making it through without a single puncture makes me feel like I have some unfinished business and need to race it a bit harder.

More of a medium read but I like to read about city planning.
Rule #88 was the most interesting for me having never thought about the thickness of a boundary. -

@HatBeard @Greenbank Thanks for the feed back, I was joking on the desire for tips as I'm certain the lottery functions as randomly as it should do. Although if you have employed any eldritch machinations for entry, such as chanting Sir Richard Branson's name backwards three times under a full moon, I'm willing to give it a go.

I found that eventually but I still think it should be on the tracking page or easier to find. It would help out us forgetful/fussy lot.
I'm sure I saw the full route on his homepage
Do you mean his full planned route or the current record? Would be great to compare the two.
Need to check I'm not blocking the scripts also.

Took me ages to find it, so for anyone else it is from Cabo Da Roca, Portugal to Ufa, Russia. An estimated 4000 miles / 6500km and he is aiming for less than 20 days and is supported.
Current Record is 24D 18H held by Sean Conway who was unsupported.
Best place i could find for the current WR route: https://www.yellowjersey.co.uk/sean-conway-cycling-world-record-attempt/

http://www.lookmumnohands.com/events/the-transcontinental-race-debrief
More cyclists chatting about cycling. I've got a ticket if anyone fancies joining for a beer.
This actually looks well put together. Clear differences between this and the announcement of Trans Alba in terms of preparation.
Going to be tough to pick a race this year.
