Nope, it’s held up so far possibly also as the light is very light, but that’s good thinking and might come in handy for rougher terrain also

Dredge perhaps but this has been used by my oldest for years and skipping the middle one has now gone to the youngest who is delighted. It’s a great wee bike.

For what it’s worth I’ve put a lot of kms on the SR24s (w 42 Continental Contact Speed) and it’s fine. Not light but there are other ways to find weight. Off myself included. The front now has a Dt something w dynamo for t dark months so less use. Save the money for something more fun. Until they break etc. Enjoy
