Dear sages: As my SS MTB was stolen recently (if you're in Glasgow/Scotland/elsewhere, pls look out for a red Vitus, with everything upgraded to slightly better from parts bin) I am looking to make more everyday use of my CX. As a fast runaround, and as a slow runaround (3 kids). This means flat bar and going 1x, (110 bcd/42t) possibly SS. It's a Genesis Fugio 853, with a rival 22 road set on, and Juin cable/hyd. Any reason these things would not work? Recommendations for other bits and or sites? Thanks!

Slight thread resurrection. Does anyone have real world experience of fitting (rubiono) 28s on an (2010) alu langster? With the normal tektro brakes etc. Thanks.

This looks great. Why not a top pull option for the possible FD? I recently mixed Rival and a Shim Cx70 for a Genesis fugio which has similar properties to your future machine. Also runs juin tech cable-hydro brakes which have been fine so far. Excited about this Rourke.

Hello, just noticed this gem. Despite being active on the last version of the forum (and spending far too many hours lately reading but not commenting/selling/buying) I seem to have lost my status etc and thus I am still in the nursery under a strange name, otherwise I would be PMing you instead. But here goes: I'd like to purchase this frame, but due to circumstances beyond all control, money has to go to things not bike-related (3 kids) but if this is still here at the end of the month I am very keen.
