This particular neighbour once invited the other owners (4 maisonettes) to an election night dinner (possibly the last but one) and blithely assumed we were all also tories by virtue of the fact we live in a tory borough. I mean, I work in fin services regulatory advice so I get it for me but the lesbian couple who are both ex-social workers... seems like a leap. In any case, she has always been alarmingly out of touch and seemed to embrace a casual nastiness, not to mention treating the rest of us like employees when anything needed doing around the place. We generally tolerate her but she's stepped over the line with my wife (who has zero tolerance for b*llsh*t) a few times and been told her fortune, as my Dad would say.

Having been thoroughly acquainted with the 'Embankment Wall of Wind' over the years, on Monday I was accosted by it's chippy upstart City cousin. The 'London Bridge WoW' kinda sneaks up and punches just as you pass Adelaide House. Went from a decent lick to sideways to a crawl. Luckily it was deserted at lunchtime. Think its only a storm phenomenon though.

Mine (2017) took a long time to heal but it was plated straight away (seeing as it was in three bits with a floating piece in there). I explored having the plate removed a few years later but the consultant didn't think it would be either easy to do or worthwhile. It aches occasionally in wet weather and it doesn't like having my daughter lean on the plate but otherwise I don't really notice it. Good luck with all your healing everyone.

It is annoying - I played the main story through again just for the combat (which didn't take long) along with the perk that gives you harder enemies. I had no desire to repeat all the extras.
To be fair it makes the combat different but I wouldn't say it really improves the experience. There are still some force powers and the droid hacking bug (feature?) that are way overpowered.

As soon as I get off the greenway near New Beckenham on the way home the driving just turns to absolute sh*t (from an already low starting point). I presume it just gets worse the further out you go.
Maybe its having been away from traffic for so long but it really is just lots of angry loons. Even got beeped by the local MP in his massive saloon last week for reasons. Maybe thought I was a minority though, so understandable.

48 in a few days and was riding fixed until a knee injury about 6 months back. Physion advice was to keep riding to help recovery.
I can now ride my geared bike without aggravating it but grinding up hills, even on some very easy gearing, fixed does it no good. Bike fit is dialled so not that as far as I'm aware. Probably pies though really.

Was up at 4am the other day and noticed a bunch of youngins playing on the communal lawns next door. Maybe six of them and two Mums as well as an older sibling keeping its distance. Was lovely to watch them hooning about, rolling down the grassy slope and pronking about after each other without a care in the world.
We have a single young one who sleeps in our neighbour's garden but have never seen so many all gamboling about.
Decided not to mention it to the dog.
