Cheers Andy, been to Poole and Swanage for some offroad riding and camping, some of the best memories. Definitely on the "explore more" list.
However, for this week's trip I'm looking for something closer to Portsmouth, a true S24O format.
Thought about Isle of Wight after posting that previous message. Perhaps will take a ferry in the afternoon, ride, find a beach to camp - never been, but photos so far indicate loads of sandy beaches? - sleep and do the reverse. -

MSR Pocket Rocket 2 burner, MSR IsoPro small fuel canister - enough for a few trips if only heating water, Alpkit aluminium pot (have a set of two, this was the small one) - rubber handle coating removed to avoid it melting, I use a thick glove for handling it.
Need one of those canister stands spotter mentioned.
Also, didn't bring it but love my Sea to Summit foldable bowl - folds flat and bottom doubles as a chopping board. -
Great weekend riding and camping! Route was a blast, fun but challenging on a gravel bike with front panniers.
@carson hope you feel better now. We could hear the pub party still going when our camp got quiet for sleep.

@platypus glad to report that front panniers held on really well. Will see you at Paddington for the 08:57 train.
@free-tard I’m taking the tent, no groundsheet though, should have mentioned that right away. Hope that’s fine

4 months of using Quadlock - quality stuff, feel like it will last for years.
The phone and whole system is stable even in rough off-road conditions.
While riding the case can be taken off/put on with due care.
I got the out front mount and it seems serviceable - taken it apart just to check that and it ends up as a few solid plastic pieces and a metal spring.Anecdotally (officially?) the poncho does not protect from long and/or heavy rain. Haven't been caught out yet, dreading what I would do then (put away in a waterproof ziplock bag I guess).

Nigor WickiUP 3 (outer, inner).
+ Plenty of space for 2 people with gear. Headspace too since it's a tipi tent. Slept 3 with stuff in the inner tent. Slept 4 with stuff outside under just the outer, tight.
+ Double skin. Same accessories for all configurations.
+ Very stable in wind, rain.
+- Can be fiddly to setup as shape mostly relies on correct tension and spacing of the corners. Still better than dac pole suspended tents (deeply subjective this one).
- No porch. Although when using both layers you could create a small one.Hope this helps.

For sale are these never fitted mudguards. Small dent on the rear one (I'm clumsy), shown on the photo.
They did not fit my 42mm (1.75) Paselas diameter. That's right, the width would have been tight but ok, but diameter wise it just would not work. So maybe up to 40mm wide tyres.
£35
London, SE4, or reasonable cycling distance. Postage for extra.

White Audi Douchebaggery > Lea River walkers and dogs
@Howard when you say "traffic free to Chingford", there is still that bit on A110 and uphill, or do you leave Lea Navigation earlier somewhere? #quietwaylife

Yep amazing stuff. The only reason to check instagram in the morning is his fantastic photos.
