Thanks. I think I have plenty of space to carry them, so all good.
Probably not using your bar bag -- handlebars are too narrow:) Maybe someone else wants it?
Have a Pelago large front rack to borrow btw.
@pit -- are you still undecided? Doubt you will be the slow one.

Got my train tickets from/to Liverpool street. Did not bother with bicycle space reservation, hope it doesn't bike back, especially on the leg past Ipswich. 4 bikes per train there.
Shelter: +1C rated bag, inflatable mat, bivy sack. If one or two of you need a roof over your head then I can ditch the bivy sack and bring a tent fly instead. Designed for 3 people, tipi style.
Route looks good, flat-ish; coastal vegetation and sights should be very different to Chilterns I'm guessing.
Contemplating taking or leaving luxuries like cooking kit.

Cheers @vilms5000
I see there are trains from Brighton > Victoria (via Hove and CLJ for other hope on/off options) every 30 mins. 2h 14mins for the full journey mentioned. £18.70 -

Rad! Thumbs up for fork crown mounted light. I was on this.

I’d pay to watch @pit do it. Bet it wouldn’t even be a fun watch how boring he’d make it look.

Thanks! Thought all black would have been “too easy”, very happy how it worked out.
Re weight, second what @mrJL said. Handles great, insanely stable so front panniers were a no brainer. Still (brutally) fun offroad with them.
