The benotto tape also came to my mind, but I planned on using it on my own bike.

Preferably something other than gumwall, but with a contrast color. Single colored tyres look too big.

I bought this denti frame for the miss. Have a full Dura Ace 7400 groupset and wheels with silver rims.

I'm not quite sure about the saddle - bar Tape - tub choice. I want it to look bright and tender.

Was thinking about pink white bar tape with a gradient, a perforated white saddle and black / white tubs.

Any thoughts on that?

Its a campa 7 Speed Cassette.

I tried cleaning with grease remover and tried nevrdull but those dark spots did not vanish.
Is this Rust? Will something like vapo Rust remove it or do I have to sand and polish.

I'm attempting my first build and want to go for a C-record/chorus aera look with monoplanar breaks and friction shifters.

So what do I have to look out for when sourcing components ? Which groups are compatible with 7/8/9 speed casettes? Can a group with ergo shifters be converted to work with friction shifters? Which axle length do I need for a 7x2 or 8x2 setup and can I use a new bb for this if I exchange the axle?

I have been searching the web and found some articles, but if there is something like a compatiblity chart, that would be awsome. So and tipps, hints and links to good web resources are appreciated :)

hi all

I tried to grease my spd's spring but accidently got some lubricant on my spds. now they unlock too easily. After cleaning the pedals and cleats multiple times I tried new cleats (same). Is something wrong with the pedals themselves or is there just some lubricant left? (does not feel like it)
Any tips on how to get rid of it?

a guy that serviced my bike sprayed lubricant from underneath into my spds. :(
ok after cleaning the pedals and cleats I tried new cleats (same), now my shoes broke and its even more easy to unlock with the new shoes. So is something wrong with the pedals?

just need a front brake but will take both if they just come as a set.
