Very large framed late 80s Dawes Galaxy
- Currently looks like this
Suntour Shifters (Will include spare set of these I have sat around)
GB Randonneur Bars and SR stem
Weinamnn brakes with recent pads
Rigida 700c wheels with 5 speed screw on cassette (will also include 27 inch rims with new tyres and tubes but these need spokes freeing off and tightening)
Shimano MT520 SPD pedals
New headset, cables and reasonably recent chain, BB bearings
Frame has been welded on the BB shell, crack can be seen in first picture here - http://imgur.com/a/Kj4d9 (loads of photos of the bike when I first got it too)
Frame was then painted not so well in Hammerite, more as a rust and thief deterrent than anything aesthetic
Seatpost and saddle are On-One pivotal cheap stuff - I do have other saddle and post combos in a 27.2 so can change if required
Selling as I now have a more modern tourer and no longer need this onePrice £250 or reasonable offers - based on the restoration projects selling on eBay for £100+
Based in Essex but available in Cambridge and Suffolk border area too -
-
60cm BSA Prima, 531 Reynolds tubing (main tubes only I believe?)
Will include seatpost as it's 27.0mm and I have no use for the size
Can include crankset if required but BB has only got a bearing cage in one side
To get the ball rolling pricewise £50?
Located in Essex but am regularly in Cambridge and Suffolk

Seems the photos have not uploaded still, maybe file size is too high.
On One
Hope that works, if not I can email you some.

As new On One Inbred frame, bought wrong size, it's an 18 inch in black, no noticeable marks as the frame was built ridden for a short while and then taken apart again.
£55? Open to offers as I need to clear out a lot of bike bits.
Can also lob in the forks Mk1 DMR Trailblade, sprayed white, and a short stem, sadly no headset available as that's gone into my bigger frame. Would take £80 for all.

60 cm ST BSA Prima 531 Reynolds Tubed (Main Triangle only, I believe?) in structurally great condition but definitely some patina gained over the years, from what I've read these were a reasonably high spec when released in the late 80s.
Has been converted from 10 speed to singlespeed using -
Izumi track chain
Generic freewheel (does the job well but nothing snazzy)Most of the bike is Suntour components with Raleigh branding (Crankset, stem, pedals and bars) wheels are Raleigh 700c (Not 27") Sturmey Archer toe clips, will need a polish as there is some surface rust on these.
Tyres, bar tape, brake cables have been replaced very recently (ridden for 10-20 miles since)
Rear wheel has had some new spokes fitted as the old ones were looking rather tired, headset bearings have been replaced and the steering is lovely and smoothBSA
Photos are slightly old and were taken before bar tape, new tyres and cables were added.
Reduced to £80
Price too high? Or is it the frame size that's the issue?
