How was it? I'm seriously considering getting my daughter one as she grows out of bikes faster than she can wear out a tyre.

How did you swap out the stem for a threadless one?

I have a Dawes Galaxy frame that will take 700x40c or so tyres, it's 25" CTC so truly massive, had a welding repair to BB shell, so cheap too.
