Vintage Globe Canvas / De Martini messenger bag. These were made in New York and widely regarded as the first dedicated messenger bag used by all the NYC messengers back in the 80s/ early 90s hayday.
Here is a bit of history on the company:
http://www.demartinibags.com/about-us.aspxAnd here is a video from CNN news on David Leopold, a NYC messenger from 1985. I first saw this on the De Martini facebook page and they said he is using one of their original bags, and it appears to be exactly the same as the one i have for sale:

The bag is in excellent condition considering it is probably 30+ years old. There are scuffs on the bottom corners but other than that it is in very good consition.
The outer material is red canvas with a yellow tarpaulin liner which has no tears. There is also a large internal pocket on the the front wall of the bag. The strap is thick 2" webbing and features the traditional drop jaw buckle which has some rust but otherwise work perfectly.
The badge is a bit faded but clearly says 'Globe Canvas New York' and i think this badge pre-dates the more common De Martini badge which is on every other bag i have seen online.
The velcro is still sticky and the webbing and buckles are all pretty much perfect.
Dimensions: Its one of the larger models, 24" wide at the top, 12" high, 7.5" deep. Approx. 34 litre volume.
I picked this up from the USA but it is too large for my daily commute. I wouldn't be suprised if this was the only one in the UK so is an ultra rare collectors item.
£80 posted.

Just stumbled on this thread - appears i am not alone. Recently put on a new Izumi chain, I also have a 17t Phil Wood sprocket, chain line nice and straight etc and now it clicks like a freewheel -so consistent clicking on what sounds like every tooth.
Thanks for the pointers above, will have a good look when i should be working this afternoon to see if it is snagging on the teeth, had a look before but couldn't see anything wrong but now i know what i'm looking for...

Vintage steel frame, 52cm square with generic chrome fork. Don't know make, powder coated red by previous owner. Nice lugs. One tiny handlebar ding on top tube, apart from that excellent condition.
English BB, Shimano cranks with generic 46T chainring.
Wheels are off a 2009 Fuji track which i brought recently in pretty much as new condition. I put another wheel set on so these are pretty much as new.
Generic seat post.
In Oxford but have a bike box here and can courier for £10.
Bike as seen £120 but willing to split and sell frameset and wheels separately for £80 / £50 plus postage.

Picked up second hand Tacx rollers at the weekend and surprised myself by getting the knack in just a few minutes. But my 46/17 gearing felt a bit heavy - i find this perfect for the daily commute but felt like wading through treacle on the rollers.
Any recommendations on a more suitable gear to get the best out of the rollers? Or is it just a case if me having weak legs?! Thanks.
Looking for a decent medium sized messenger for my daily commute. Have been using a Ynot Gulper backpack for a year or so - nothing wrong with it at all but like the idea of a single strap.
So considering a Ynot messenger but would welcome thoughts / opionions / experience on: Chrome Citizen, Blahol, Trash or Reload. Would prefer to buy in the UK to avoid hefty postage and import duty costs and also welcome to second hand offers or swap for my bag. Thanks.
