Thought I'd post up some pictures of my last build before i get started with the new one. It's a Dave Russell 54cm, its been powder-coated by Armourtex a high temp matt black and been built up with mostly BLB parts (full parts list below).
I had to make a custom bracket in order to fit the rear brake without modifying the frame from the original. The brake cables have been wrapped in the bar tape to give it a cleaner look at the front but it has the unfortunate side effect of pushing or pulling slightly on the rear calliper if the bars are turned all the way over due to a total lack of slack in the sleeve. The BLB callipers are amazing with excellent stopping power and an exceptional build quality.
I love the look of the kinked up bull bars over having the parallel to the TT, i think it looks more purposeful and it gives the bike a great city riding position. However the racing frame is not really stiff enough and feels a little to fragile for London and i cant use how i want to (off curbs etc). So i'm building up a Brooklyn, link/pics to follow.
Parts List:

to save time i want £1000 for the frame, FSA headset and both forks and stickers...please keep any opinions you have on this price to yourself, if you've seen a nice one built up you know how desirable these are and i was weak that day. its 52cm from top of seat to bb centre.
for the job lot which i would much prefer ill take £1750, retail was £2100 with all receipts to prove it...it literally just needs rims and wheel build to get going and be just about one of the nicest bikes you'll ever see.

This is the bike that was for sale at Skinny Erics, the frame has been colour matched and powdercoated and replacement lacquer on stickers are in included with the frame.
I bought the bike and a tonne of sexy bits to go on it but have been messed around by so many suppliers trying to get rims I am now entirely sick of looking at it and not being able to finish the build.
The frame is still in bubble wrap from powder coat and all the parts in the pictures are for sale and brand new...the SRAM A2 Automatix (36h) has been powder coated black, and both the original forks (powdercoated as well) and black disc forks are included.
Hope stuff is:
E4 front brake with 160mm bracket (rotor, pads included)
5mm QR skewer
Seat Clamp (26.2mm)
Head Doctor
Pedals
Pro 2 Evo Disc Front Hub (36h)Also
Paul Comp Royal Flush Sprocket 46T
Campag BB to fit Paul crank
Brave Machine Bars
BLB Mars stem
Turbo suede saddle
Sram A2 Automatix 2 speed rear hub with Coaster brake
FSA headset
Izumi chainIf your looking at this post you have an idea how much all this cost, I overpaid for the frame because I loved but now its just bumming me out having sit around after being shafted up and down the country by basically every supplier. To name and shame them- SHINY BIKES, SLAM69, CLOUD9. So after 4 weeks of still not being able to do anything i want to shift the lot and spend some money on my Dave Russell.
Have a look at the pics and make me an offer, would love to sell the whole lot but willing to sell in bits too, London ideally.
Cheers guys
