That seat is much too far back for you!
On gearing I second what others have said here, 11-32 is fine for all but the quickest riding in Kent, for me at least with 44 front.
Remember fixed gear! One gear can be enough it's just about speed n effort/efficiency. I think people worry about gearing more than necessary

Thanks and phew, glad to hear as I have an upcoming trip and was considering relacing the affected spokes.
it just has a very small effect on redistribution of stresses under load and provides an additional constraint on how stuff moves when strained
Any pointers as to where I can read about this? I'd like to understand a bit more. Cheers

You mean the SR freehub body? I have one i could probably part with - do you have the ratchet pawls as they don't come with them, only the freehub body and bearings etc. maybe if you have sram you can take it out of that?
iirc someone in the deals thread tried a dt swiss that matched so maybe their pawls would work if not. dm me if of use

It's a little south of Granada near the sierra nevada, lovely riding down there.
@greytyke the royals are actually quite light!

Looks like a lovely forest to ride!
I'm lucky enough to already own one, but I have been wondering whether a 35 would fit as I do sometimes get pinch flats with the 32 I currently use. Some of the tracks around there go rocky and fast.
