Just starting to get some rust on our broad beans so I pulled them up. 4kg, any volunteers to pod them?

We had the same deal with our loft stairs. Curvy mesh plastering helped maximise the height on the landing.

The plastered surface isn’t perfectly smooth as you can see from the photo, but generally good. I think this is where a really experienced plasterer’s skill shows.

I'm going to be in the market for a new oven - steam looks interesting. Is it a no-no to put a steam oven under-counter?

Also....jeebus... plumbed in steam combis are even more expensive than I'd imagined!

Have used oil based Crown Full Gloss in the past, but can’t face the smell and slow drying with a rampaging toddler. Is Zinnser All Coat Exterior a bad shout?

I can definitely relate to this, you’re doing all the right things and it will get better with time and patience. I’d also second(or third) the muzzle suggestion. When our patterdale had a run in with a bigger dog and came out of it with 20 stitches he got very reactive with other dogs. The muzzle helped me relax and also made other dog owners more respectful so it was much easier to make progress.

I’m looking for replacement sealed ball bearings for a buggy (babyzen yoyo) and am struggling to find the right fit. They are almost standard sized 6900.
10x22x6mm, but the inner race extends an extra 1mm on each side.

So, assuming I can’t find a supplier of the proprietary bearings, where can I get M10 washers 1mm thick that have a small enough OD to avoid fouling the outer bearing race?
