Fellow Surly people. I have a crosscheck with a fused thompson seatpost. How do I fix this. I was thinking of contacting some framebuilders in london to just take care of it. but could there be another way? Does anyone have any experiance of this?

wanted to have a bit of a rave about my lil cousin,hes 16 and just done his GCSEs.
He was cycling to school when a man driving a car in the middle of the road ran into him and broke his arm. He snapped both bones in his lower arm and he needed titanium plates and pins and has had multiple surgerys to fix it. This happened litterally 2 weeks before he sat his GCSES! He had to do all his exams with a scribe because he couldnt write. Hes just finished and he got sick grades and had a dig at the driver in the islington gazette:
anyway shout out to him for being a well nice and smart 16 year old whos being a good lil cycling advocate.

seen 3 electric scooter riders being stopped in 2 days all on embankment.
they didnt stop a guy on an electric scateboard though for some reason. v strange. must be a numbers thing.what do yall actually think about these scooters. I would say the majority of them are pretty fine (no worse than some cyclists), just nice people trying to get to work like everyone else.

Thanks! From the light googling ive done the Nikon FE is quite a rugged camera, my grandad knew his stuff and chose wisely. I think this camera has been about a bit. He was a keen hiker and I think it might have done a few trips around the Pyrenees and mayve even the Himalayas. I was surprised by how well some of the shots came out (when you're expecting crap nearly everything is good!).
One of the really interesting things Ive noticed about having a fixed lens and having to make each shot count is it makes you look differently at the world.
I have 2 lenses for the nikon - a 55mm and a 105mm. Both offer a totally different framing to the super wide angle that my phone gives. It forces you to look harder at the world I think, it opens the possibilities to capture details that are nearly impossible to capture on a phone.
Looking forward to maybe getting stuck into the weekly photo comp too.

Nothing changed in post (other than a bit of straightening). These were taken with standard fujicolour 200 film. What makes you think that they have been altered in post - the orangeness? Im not sure whats caused this.
