Nice bike and view, the scrambler is, for me, one of the nicest looking Ducati in a while.
Boring old gipper bit;
I don’t even ride my little c90 without earplugs, anything above 15mph (iirc) and it’s something like 100db of wind noise and you risk damaging your hearing. My dad ended up deaf from years working on building sites and it’s shit (and may increase chances of dementia). Cheap foam earplugs are fine - my bike jacket pockets and bags are stuffed with them! -
Wonder if getting this leech going to Iraq this week was to counteract bad publicity over her unnecessary police escort killing an old lady

The problem is shite English bar staff techniques ;) pour six starts of Guinness pints at normal pump speed, let them stand for five minutes meanwhile take payment, serve someone else etc, come back finish pints. Fuck drawing any shamrocks in the head of the pint.
No delay to other punters, everyone happy,Two perfect pints today (the only ornaments of my parents my brothers and I wanted and the spoils of being sole carer!!!)

Seen a few riders with the rucksacks with the plastic domes like these
Hasn’t looked particularly nice for either party.
Bored at work googling throws up thishttps://www.petonwheels.eu/about
Looks much nicer.

Ulez compliance achieved on the Harley today. Crappy cold ride out to Bow and £350 later all good.
Day enhanced by some dipshit cunt deliveroo rider in Clapham nearly having me off as he swerved during an emergency stop to wave to his mate and a van driver reversing into me at a junction near home. Fortunately I hit the horn as he slammed it into reverse so it was a nudge rather than a full on shunt.Really enjoying the 883 despite a morning of cuntery driving, much nicer in traffic than I feared and quite well balanced. Doesn’t like the edges on those oblong sleeping policemen though .

Go and speak to your gp, see if you can get some counselling. Don’t bottle it in in your relationship (guess how I know that!). Talking, even on forums is good and mental health issues are more common than a lot of people think.
I was told a variation on this tip by a counsellor to just take the edge of things immediately;“ hold your head still and find a spot on your right and left side. Move your eyes side to side, finding those spots and do this until they tire. You will begin to feel yourself getting calmer.”
Make it so your eyes are doing a bit of work at the peripheries. I tend to close my eyes to do it. I’ve also had emdr for ptsd so can vouch for eye movement as a treatment for anxieties.
