Did a ride with Mrs Underuser’s work at the weekend. The minibus and trailer people they used to get us back to London have fucked the paint, scratched back to steel, on mine and the wife’s bikes. Mine also now has a dent on the top tube.
Who is good for resprays?
Will the dent be fixable/ new tube / live with it? It looks worse in real life but still isn’t a massive ding but I am fucking annoyed.
Mine is the blue one.

I do like a Magrette, but the deployment clasp on mine was abysmal, kept popping open at the slightest knock.

I now own a Colnago! Unplanned eBay purchase and mine was the only bid so very cheap (£500 for complete bike). Think it’s a Super; fluted main tubing, embossed Colnago on seat stay tops and drive side chain stay. Has quite a nice paint scheme and very clean. Full ultegra group set and changed the stem to a shorter chrome one.
Haven’t actually had a chance to ride it yet.

If it's cuts and bruises I doubt you will be able to claim anything for injuries unfortunately.
Nope, I had very minor cuts and a bit of whiplash before covid after being hit lightly by a car- £1200 iirc.
Photograph any cuts and bruises however small. Make notes of how long muscle pain lasts and number of pain killers taken.

Thanks all. It’s my second c90. The first lives out in Ireland and gets used for blatting around the local lanes, light off road and lugging things for gardening (we are at the end of a long boreen and it’s a pita nipping back to the sheds for a saw or anything.
I’m hoping this one is as much fun in the urban environment, they’re also considerably more expensive now as Irish cub only cost me six hundred quid on eBay (at the time I somehow bought three bikes on eBay each one for £600 ish, the cub, a 1968 bantam (now they are shit! And it is now in a barn in Ireland) and a Kawasaki gt550 - not much chance of that now) -
On our club forum there very little chat about open tt’s anymore. The odd announcement about some other clubs promotions (and the last one there was the east Surrey hard riders in spring) but no real conversations about racing or kit at all. Club tens seem a bit patchy as well when a few years ago we’d almost have a full field every week. Road racing seems to genera chat so people are racing. Sad times.

“Cyclists will be stopped on the hour and every half an hour in Great Dunmow so that residents can drive on the event route to enter and exit the area.””

But will a blackbird be as fast as this? (obviously it will be about 3 3/4 times faster so I may have to go for comfort in motorcycle top trumps!).
Just been delivered, a 1993 Honda c90 Custom, 34k Km on the clocks and seems to be in very good order. -
£170 ish quid to add a Honda c90 onto the last six months of my current insurance, it would have been cheaper to get something fast and uncomfortable!!
