That’s a shitter, it was horrible when my Kawasaki got stolen and that was a heap. Went through that not going to bother again mood but after a while decided I needed to have a bike and then “found “ mine parked up locally.
No idea on zoomer but (Stealth ad!! (No actual stealth though) I’m looking to offload my 250 Xmax - great town bike but my Honda C90 is a much more fun urban bike.
So my answer is buy a c90.

RTs are big lumps. Never had a RT but had an r1100rs and that was a very good bike. Fast enough, my quickest ever trip back from in laws in Devon to Wimbledon was on it, but still a comfortable tourer and mile muncher. Did Bilbao to Barcelona with the then gf on the back and return leg through the Pyrenees on it. Very underrated bikes.

The advantage on motorbikes is they are much bigger, faster and have a light on the front at all times
And they usually have a fucking loud horn on them which a lot of riders under-use in the urban environment. Not sure what a motorist is going to do? give them a really long parp on the horn and make the fuckers think a bit.

I raced one for a couple of years at HH. I went from an alloy Dolan to it.
It was light and good value at the time. I don’t recall it being overly flex but I was not a big strength rider being more of a spinner, nor was I any good! I am about 6’1” and was about 90kg so rode a large.
At the time it was a good value frame for a fairly crap middle aged racer. If you are aiming higher you may want to invest more. I did spend proportionately more on relatively decent wheels and tyres though.
I sold mine to a club mate and it may still be circulating HH. Overall it was a good frame for what I needed, if i was doing it again I’d consider one (or a steel colnago which is obviously loads more cash!!). -
Went to the gym on Saturday, had quite a good session, pleased with equal current pb on bench press, and finished off with jumps from standing onto a 30” box. Did two sets no problem. Waiting for the wife to finish so decided to just do one more set even though I was a bit knackered; first one pulled something major and painful in my lower back on take off - fucker! Now in pain and off to physio later.

When we first viewed our house, a two bedroom Victorian terrace, it had about two thousand records and eight thousand books in it. Books were all art tomes and the records classical music. One of the downstairs rooms was a narrow sliver of space between books and every wall was shelved. The shelves were very well engineered so much so that the walls were wrecked after taking them down.
The vendors, it was a probate sale, started a small business selling all the books and records off. -

X Max 250?
Half interested in getting rid of mine.
2008 about 20k mileage (it’s at work atm) heated grips. Good bike, ulez compliant, but I just don’t use it much anymore, last year it was either four hundred or six hundred miles on it (got a Honda c90 which I love). Probably want £1800
