Hello all. After finishing my fixed build, now I want to start my girlfriend's single speed.
Looking for a 50cm classic style track or road frame. Just the frame and then I will build it up part by part, though if it comes with good crankset or wheels I will use them.
She will be able to start joining forum rides once she has the bike.
Budget is humble but it all depends on the frame that is offered.

Hey @harpoonist. I've been looking lately in the forum for small frames since I have a similar project. I've seen a few 52cm bikes being sold lately. If I see any I will let you know.
If anybody sees or has a 50cm frame to sell. Let me know. I am on the lookout.

I can't wrap my head around that plastic bag.
That person carries a not-light U-lock, locks it to the seat post touching the bicycle stand, and then gets out a plastic bag and ties it from lock to stand?
This can't be. Maybe the bag is only tied to the top tube and lock, and the person didn't want to spend a minute unlocking the bag and re-locking to stand.
What the hell.

Build log. Here it goes:
Bare frames are beautiful.
Uno saddle. White to contrast the frame. Kept in the bag for whiteness reasons.
Notorious Crankset installed. The illest.
Wheels built by @maro_donald, looking slick and waiting. Panasonic Pasela PT tyres.
H Plus Son Archetype look really good with this frame. 20 minutes getting the chain tension and back wheel straightness juuuuust right.
Pedals on with some black double leather toe straps.
Taking a step back and 'miring.
Temp loaner Nitto handlebars thanks to @privatepatterson.
Thanks to the loaner bars I could ride it away on Saturday. Looking sharp!
... Yesterday my BLB Pursuit handlebars arrived, and we switched them out. White fi'zik tape to match.
I present to you, the Notorious Brother. Final name still waiting to materialize. Can't wait to leave the office and ride it again.
Build complete (for now). Will have some glamour shots coming soon.

@TPR, definitely recommend CyclePS. As you can read above I spent the easter weekend cycling away thanks to them lending me some handlebars. That is some next level costumer service. Meh, who am I kidding, just some friendly people helping a friend out. Hopefully next time I pop in for coffee I see you there.
The build was done there at the shop, they tought me a lot since it was my first. Will post pictures of it tomorrow.
"A foolish pleasure? Whatever
I had to find the buried treasure, so grams I had to measure"
That is a beautiful bike!
Where abouts are you? Would like to test if 48 is too small.
