Been enjoying this series and the tongue in cheek nature of this Xmas special is spot on.

In my mind it’s a hole in the wall shop in shibuya 😂 but all went very smoothly. It’s a Japanese only release (initially at least) hence the reason for import. They seem to do a good line in gshocks (amoungst other random gundam and plushy stuff!) so seemed trustworthy. They listed the value pretty low on the invoice aswell which is maybe why it got through customs ok. Probably not the first time they’ve dealt with shipping abroad. -

Excellent deal this, I ‘downgraded’ to an sl8 after selling a similar bike (read unbadged sworks) and as much as I like the sl8, the venge still remains the faster bike, both in looks and in feel, and probably in measurable terms too! Ah man, can you tell I regret selling the venge 😂 it’s a proper modern classic!

Went into Broadgate Rolex AD a few weeks ago, to put my name down on the list for a Rolex explorer for my 40th next July, for a laugh I also put my name down for the two tone explorer to see how quickly they came up given their frankly extortionate markup over the steel explorer, 3 weeks later I get the call for the two tone 😂 which suggests they not in very high demand, am on holiday so was easy to turn down the two tone, also checked resale and looks like the depreciate pretty fast. So guessing holding value Rolex argument probably only works for the steel models. Saying all that was surprised how nice the two tone explorer is in person, but yeah no way I’m paying that much of a markup over the steel version.
Nice, what, where?
