@Husy — I see my wheels cleaned up well!

@Dogtemple — Thanks. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks. Yeah I popped into my LBS and chatted to a couple of helpful chaps about this exact thing. Apparently I'm just being paranoid about the sound. The motion is fine. I'm used to sealed bearings in the Charge beater. They make no noise at all. Guessing that if I build the whole bike up, it should be less noticeable. Will try both the above tips.

@Dogtemple — Yeah, they're most probably 5/32, from what limited info i've found about these headsets. The company will ship me 2 new, caged sets for €12. The main problem i've found is trying to find caged bearings for a 1" steerer. Is the loose bearing method fairly fool proof? Walking it through in my head: Grease both cups, Stick the fork some of the way in, turn upside down, whack some bearings in the bottom cup, push fork all the way in, turn up the right way, repeat on the top, and then seal as usual?

Bought this at the sample sale a few weeks back. It's the only one, out of the 3 jerseys i bought, that i can't see myself using.
Brand spanking new and unworn (you can still see the straight creases in the pics - Box fresh!)
Should mention that the pics make it look very blue, but it's far more purple in reality. Like the blue/gold > black/white dress debate, lets not get onto that.RRP £89, but i think i paid £35/40 (can't recall! bought a fair bit of stuff that day)
Looking to get back what i paid for it to fund a new build.

Sadly, I'm selling my large, shiny, Charge Plug Racer frame.
56cm Top Tube (C-C)
60cm Seat Tube (C-C)
I'm 6'1"ish and I've been very comfortable riding it for 18 months.
No dings or dents present. There are the obvious tiny chips in the clearcoat that you would expect.
There a load of slightly smudgey, scratches in the clearcoat on the seat tube that i can only think are the result of a bike lock/ mudguard that the previous owner must have used (pictured).
Also, I'm guessing that the decals were applied over the clearcoat because they are chipping off — pictured. (Ignore the messy garden)
Other bits included:
FSA Headset
Black, Unbranded Seatpost
Charge Stem
Tektro Long drop calipers — Can add some spanking new brake pads if needed.
£100 seem reasonable?
