I was huge fan of Amen of when I was 13/14 but never got to see them because I held a joint for someone that needed to crumble weed right outside the club entrance. The bouncers refused me entry 😂
I listened to their first 2 albums consistently with my CD Walkman walking to and from school. Even now I thought I'd hate listening to something that resonated so much with my shitty school/home life but this song surprisingly still hits.

Also after a 9 speed shifter and 2 or 3 speed shifter.

I'd prefer shimano alivio/deore but if in good condition will look at others.

I don't think I can. The hub is set up for 7 speed (30mm?) and there is no spacer behind the cassette can be removed.
I could go about replacing the free hub, but after all the work etc it's pribabjust better to source a new wheel with 8 speed + compatibility.

After my bike was stolen last week I made the decision to do bring the 90s mtb into the 21st century. Now an atv/tourer, daily commute workhorse.
I was going to keep it as is, but I need a bike sharpish as I'm doing the Caledonia Way next week, and this worked out cheaper than a new bike.
I probably will look to upgrade the the gearing when I'm back. The 3x7 has no where near the range I'd have expected, so will probably look to change the back wheel (unfortunately) and make it a 2x9 with a bigger range of gears.

Framebag, pedals and no name bars all from forum. Treated myself to brand new tyres, cambium and grips, and I'm glad I did, especially on the last two. What a difference a good saddle and grips make.

Any recommendations for frame protection from frame bag rubbing?
I've seen something called helicopter tape, but I am also wondering if there's a non branded cheaper alternative to the ones I've come across.

Bike was stolen on Tuesday on the bike track next to Juniper Green.

Trek FX 3. Brooks cambium saddle. Brand new specialized tyres. Brand new camel camelchops bar bag with all my tools. Surly nice rack. Burgtec Mk4 pedals.
All gone. Bastards.

It was my everyday do everything workhorse. A worked on Trek FX 3. Surly rack, conti tyres, Brooks saddle. Only had it 3 years. I had just recently grown to love it after an impulse buy/upgrade 😂
Problem is, I'm meant to be going away in 10 days to do the Caledonian Way, so need something pronto.

Recommendations for something similar and or a reputable online dealer?

Bike stolen today. Don't have it insured or on contents insurance.
Anyone know of online bike shops with any good sales at the moment?
