I finally ordered the frameset of my dreams by one of the bests makers in the country (Vagabonde cycles): Classic geo, disc, internal routing the lights wire, compatible with mech, rohloff, singlespeed, ...

I will keep track of modifications on my main rig in this thread. That's already a failure as the rig is almost 2 years old ...

Once upon a time, I had a Pompetamine (still have but not ridden by me anymore) :

This frame served me well as tourer, workhorse, week end ride ... and had a rohloff, singlespeed and even a derailleur.
The two pictured iterations reflect a few years of foruming, tweaking and learning and define what I like and what I would like on a custom frame : Rando geo, not too much sloping, mudgards, rack and lights.

Thanks ! The frame is custom hand builded. I asked for a comfy ride with big clearance (at least 700x50 without mudgards).
The mudgards are 60mm GB, I had to bodge them a little but it's ok.
Maybe I should open a thread to keep track of modifications.

Update : New mudgards, bigger threader tires for winter, less gears :

The kojak and the wheel are from my gf bike, my wheels need some truing and I may fit back some hutchinson overide I have in stock.
But yeah, the kojak are pretty fast, cheap and puncture proof (for me ;)).

Update of my do-it-all : fitted back the mudguards (with TNRC flaps, thx @jaeyukdapbap, just in time for the rain. And test of the last week project, a diy rack roll top rack bag between 10L and 30L.

Found them in the mailbox yesterday. There're very nice ! Will update with a pic once fitted.

Yeah it's a fast tire for me as I never tried something smaller/racier. And I compare them to bigger knobbies in 42 ...
I'm a bit hesitating as a pair of kojak is less than a g-one ... And tubeless is appealing but I never punctured on my kojak.

I fitted back my kojak and they're faaaaast (after wtb resolute) !
Appart the tubeless thing are the g-one speed really faster ?

A four days trip between Morvan and Forez.

On Free-Route I activated the route of some riders, it's easier to follow them. But I can't see how to share the resulting map. Anybody knows ?
