I had the same above discussed problem on my front spyre : the arm wasn't fully back in place after a pull. I have the brakes this a year, change the pads 3 times and never took the time to clean them.
Yesterday I cleaned the front caliper, dissassembled it as much as I could, sprayed some oil in the moving part and put it back and it seems that the problem is solved.
No problem on the rear, thanks to its implantation it suffers less from the road grit. -

I wanted a tire slightly more voluminous and knobbier than the marathon supreme for spring and summer touring so I tried the hutchinson overide.
I must confess that after a few rides I'm not happy with this tires. They're better on gravier but feel slower on tarmac. The shape of the tire is not very round making me feel like driving a big truck.
I have the gravelking in 700x38 in my radar, anyone compare them to supreme or compass ? -
Thanks for the advice ! You're both right, this discs are mounted on my do-it-all bike, and have seen a lot of abuse in the past year.
I'm using spyre so not subject of brake fade due to temperature. I managed a new set of pads this afternoon, I will source a vernier gauge to mesure them precisely.
Anyway, I find that the centerline worned out more quickly than an xt disc used in a similar way. -

@edscoble, I have a pair of centerline rotor on my bike and after 6000km I can feel a small edge between the braking surface and the rest of the rotor.
From your experience I should change them ? Isn't it a little low mileage ? -

Yeah very nice and quite roads. I'm hoping even quieter off-road ...
