Way back a company called Godspeed did a brake upgrade for the Impreza, new disks, Ferrodo pads, lines and fluid.... All fitting under the OEM WRX wheels.

Worked really well as the OEM callipers are nice. I guess the company is defunct now.

Only issue with windscreen replacement is that some PCP / lease contracts are sniffy about only using an OEM replacement.

Subaru wheels are a real rabbit hole… I had the OEM, prodrive PFF7. OZ superleggera, Revolution and Kahn RSV to name some. In various colours from white ,gold to bright flitter.

Unless it’s for a rat bike (looks too good for that)I think it would benefit from some protection. I’m from the 70’s and back then powder coating was awful. More modern powder coat is pretty presentable if you don’t want to go all out for wet paint.

The only thing I can think of is “betterment”. Where your insurance company will do the cheapest thing they can….as doing more will cost them money and in their eyes might make it better than it was before the paint spill.
