How long do you want to spend in Inverness? I think you could pick up a bike in Fort William, get an early train to Inverness (be very sure to book your bike place!), poke about Inverness for a bit, and then cycle back. It'll still be daylight until nearly 9pm in Fort William. Though, are you thinking of riding along the A82 between FW and Fort Augustus? I'm not sure that will be a relaxing cycle. If picking up a bike in FW, what about getting the Corran Ferry and trying to get a bit more into Scottish countryside away from the mainest roads.

Thanks very much, I'll also pass because I've got an Italian bottom bracket shell. AFAI can understand, I could replace the cups and it should all be fine, but I've not bought/installed such a crank set before so I'm going to hold out for a complete one that fits (possibly hopelessly on a UK forum I realize). Plus, I was hoping for black brake calipers tbh...
@anidel is anyway before me, but @MRI please feel free to get in there if he/she also lets it go.

Here's my Gianni Motta which is the reason I was asking. It was described as Columbus MS Gilco from between 1988-1992. I thought all the fluted tubes were Gilco, with number of flutings perhaps related to age, but not confined to Colnago. As I'm sure you know, you can find different Gilco decals, some with Colnago on them like the ones up thread, others just saying Columbus MS Design etc, so I was thinking that this could indeed be Gilco. But there's lots of types of crimp/fluting and different makes of bike further up the thread, and I can't find any picture of a Gianni Motta with tubing decal, so who knows. The fork at least is from a Gianni Motta!

Especially like that yellow master, though also the master olympics (@Concept2 and @saarf), the Rabobank master (@WimVDD) and the red master (@JusCos). They're all made of Columbus Gilco with 4 flutings, right? Does anybody know what distinguishes the different Gilcos? Did the number of flutings increase with time? Price? Were they all the same and different frame builders just chose the one they liked somehow? (I'm asking because I've got a rather funny Gianni Motta with 5 flutings.)
