Hi
I have a midi keyboard that I won't be able to reach now probably until the new year. Was planning on working on some stuff during this period off work, so would really like to buy/borrow a keyboard for a couple of weeks. I really just need it to play and record midi into logic. does not need to be fancy at all. If anyone could help that would be great.
Cheers

This is interesting. My headtube does not look like the top photo actually. On close inspection of my headtube it looks as though there is some wafer thin metal at either end of the headtube. It doesn't overlap at top like your second photo though. I'll take a photo of this later to show you what I mean. Thanks for doing some further digging.

@aniki I really appreciate the lengthy response and the good info.
I've had a look at similar era headsets. Both of the following look to have "cups" but it's difficult to make out from the 1 picture of each. Do either look useful?

Hi
I'm trying to find out what headset goes with this frame. Its 1 1/8 and integrated, but where the integrated bearings would sit, at either end of the headtube, is what looks like a track for bearings to sit. The bearings I've tried thus far (41mm ish diameter) therefore would make it into the headtube but not into this track. I have done a lot of Googling but can't seem to get what I need. I emailed Giantbikespares.com but have not had a response.
Any one got any ideas of the headset that goes into this, or even better has one.
Cheers
Tom

Sent a derailleur up to Scotland on 1 December 1st class without tracking and the buyer has messaged to say it hasnt arrived. I've checked the receipt I was given for the box and it doesn't have a reference number. Are the Post Office likely to give me the reference number if I took my original receipt down to them? I know they generally don't do this.
If not I'm guessing that I have to just hope it turns up and if not then refund?

@inkleined really fast postage and good comms. Thanks man.
also @retrodicorsa from a few weeks back. Sorted me out with some good solid wheels and let me have a look through his workshop/flat. Some lovely bikes in there. Good chap. Cheers.
